Content Marketing: 4 Amazing Blogging Tips

Blogging is one of the things that can make a huge difference to your ebusiness. When done correctly, it could be your ticket to attract new customers and to convert visitors to loyal followers. It could also help in establishing your expertise in your niche which usually results to customer trust.

Creating a blog to promote your business wouldn’t be easy. It will take a lot of time and effort. To ensure that it’ll pay off, ensure that you keep these tips in mind all the time:

Offer great, useful content. One of the most common mistakes of business bloggers is that they make their blogs an extension of their business website and press release center. Keep in mind that your blog is different from these 2 portals. It must be used as tool to connect to your potential clients in another new level. Blogs are supposed to be conversational and more laid back. They’re used to befriend visitors. So, don’t even think about focusing your blog posts on your products or on your sales pitches. Instead, write something that your visitors would find engaging and extremely interesting. For example, you can tell them stories or give them how-to guides written in a conversational tone.

Update your blog on a regular basis. I can understand if you tell me that updating a blog at least a couple of times per week isn’t easy. But nobody said blogging would be easy, right? You need to commit yourself in posting great content every so often so you can entice your visitors to come back. Running out of ideas to write? Well, that can happen but that can also be avoided. The key here is planning ahead of time. For example, if you intend to write 3 blog posts per week, start searching for topics as early as Monday morning. Talk to your colleagues and ask ideas from your regular visitors. You can also check related forums and blogs and I’m sure you’ll get great ideas. Don’t worry, you don’t need to make each of your blog posts lengthy. In fact, they can contain just 300-500 words. That’s okay as long as they offer great value to your readers.

Make it interactive. By this, I simply mean allow your visitors to comment on each of your posts. You need to do this to start conversations with them. While keeping your goal in mind (convert these people to paying customers), answer their question using friendly, accommodating tone. Do this as often as you can and you’ll easily create a community of loyal followers who’ll be more than happy to tell their friends about your blog. Amazing Posting
